My sisters and I wish to thank you sincerely for your kindness to Mum during the recent Royal Visit to Tasmania. Your co-operation and thoughtfulness made it possible for our mother to be part of this memorable occasion. On her behalf we would like to express appreciation.

Your kindness and generosity has made all the difference. I had a wonderful time at home, Thank you.

I want to thank you so much for the love, care and patience you both gave to my Father and me. It was a real comfort to have such caring folk close-by.

Just a note to let you know our dear Dad passed away peacefully surrounded by us. Thank you very much for all your care and compassion for Dad. Especially those “Thick Shakes”. Fondest regards.

Thank you. Excellent service.

Thank you for the care of our Mother.

…the trip to bring my husband from Hobart to Launceston…I was at the RHH when you arrived and I saw how you handled him… so comfortable before you set off…stopped on so many occasions to put him at ease…he says he is so grateful to you for being so kind and taking the time. You show that your work is not just a job, it is something you like and enjoy doing.

Ambulance Private was wonderful to our granddaughter and to us too, so helpful, nothing was a trouble. Thanks once again.

My mother has asked me to offer many thanks for your efficient service and kind staff.

Thank you for all the support and information.

Re the Conveyance of my wife from Calvary Hospital by Ambulance Private to our home in Kingston.

I feel that I should write to you a letter of thanks for the advice over the telephone that you gave to me which I subsequently acted upon to my advantage, for the quick and efficient way that rang me back at home with sound advice and information, and for the prompt pickup at Calvary to take my wife home and for the assistance at my home.

Thank you for your kindness during transport of my husband….

On behalf of the “Log a Load for Kids” program, I thank you for your support in providing an ambulance service at Tynwald Park on Show Day.

Just a note to say how much we appreciated the care and support you all gave to our Mum during her visits to the Holman Clinic from St John’s recently. She has told us how well she was looked after and how reassured she felt knowing she was in safe hands – it certainly made the trips a lot easier for her and we thank you.

Thank you very much – a great service and terrific ambulance personnel!!

She used to love going on the bus trips around the countryside, and who could ever forget her marvellous journey by ambulance to see her very favourite singer, Daniel O’Donnell. Daniel made such a fuss of her and her smile was wider than ever for weeks! We will also never forget the special generosity of David Watson of Ambulance Private, who gave his time and transport free to make this wonderful occasion possible.

Dear Ambulance Driver, we’re competing in the Tas Uni Scavenger Hunt and an ambulance and driver is worth big $$$, any chance you could drive by the Uni Bar and gain us a few points? Yes, we did!

It is a pleasure to pay this account as the service and care for the patient were outstanding. We wouldn’t hesitate to use this service again and to highly recommend it to others.

Thank you David for your care and giving XXX a little quality living, we will always remember your kindness.

Thank you for your wonderful service, care and patience with our mother. The opportunity to have Christmas Day with her at home was a special gift.

I have been asked by the ships Captain and doctor to pass on their appreciation for the assistance and attention you rendered to both patients.

I don’t really know how to express our thanks for everything you did for XXX. We heard about how many hours you spent on the phone as well as tying up your vehicle and staff for those extra hours. Not to mention the brilliant attitude of your staff who made the day such a pleasure for her. All I can say is thank you David. You are a great person.

Just a note to say thank you for making Christmas Day at home possible for my mother. It took a tremendous amount of will for her to make that day and preside over her family at our usual Christmas “affair”. Mums health deteriorated on Boxing Day and she died on the following day, peacefully. Thank you once again to everyone concerned.

“I note that you have again provided your services and an ambulance to assist bring realism to our mock accident scene in the Investigation Training course for Workplace Standards Tasmania inspectors, on this occasion last November. From my records I see that this is the sixth such time, four times in the south, once at Launceston and once at Burnie. On each occasion, when asked to provide an ambulance, driver and assistant, you have done so readily and quite remarkably at no cost to either the trainers or this Division. Whilst I appreciate your stated motive is to gain ‘exposure’ for your services, I feel that this has been more of a demonstration of your unselfish public spirit. Your participation and patience in working in with our trainers and also addressing the course on your insights to assist inspectors achieve the best investigation outcome is highly valued and greatly appreciated. Thank you, yet again. Yours sincerely, The Chief Inspector Of Industry.”

While we’re fortunate that it wasn’t needed for any major incidents, it’s comforting to know that it’s on hand when and if needed…..and admirably manned by our fabulous medics, Colin and Jim!…… Ambulance Private ensured everyone’s good health…

I have just returned from Tasmania where I visited my Dad and I wanted to thank you for the time you spent talking to me and getting me a quote to get him from Tassie to Queensland.   Unfortunately as much as I want him here with me it is not going to be possible as his torment and pain levels have reached such an unbearable status that he has begun receiving morphine injections and thus prognosis is not good. Hi, I would just like to say a big thank you for the assistance I received during the Cadbury half marathon (2012).  The young guy who was working for you was very re-assuring for both me and my family members. I never thought I would need to be assisted during one of these races but it has really made me appreciate the work that goes into the organisation and the help that the ambulances provide.  I wasn’t really in a state to say thank-you on the day but I hope that you can pass this on to those who were working that day – the officer may remember me as the dehydrated girl from QLD. Kind Regards

Hello. Nine weeks ago whilst being transferred to the Royal Hobart Hospital from Calvary I had the misfortune to be taken by two young men who I believe were from the Tasmanian Government Ambulance transport. Yesterday in the afternoon (27th December) during my stay at Hobart Private I had to be taken to Calvary Hospital from the Hobart Private Hospital, when I heard that this was going to happen I was very nervous and it brought back memories of how I was treated. Not so,  yet again two young men from Ambulance Private, they were marvellous, kind, caring, talked to me, explained what the delay was when we arrived at Calvary and were most courteous, not to mention well-spoken and were very careful how they handled me getting in and out of the ambulance, I was so relieved and happy as I have been going through an extremely hard time and this was all I needed. I don’t know their full names but the two men were called Tim and David.  You are lucky to have these two people working for your Company. Regards

Dear Liz, in nearly 15 years of nurturing Ambulance Private from a single ambulance company to its now state wide operation, your email will rate as a highlight! I have always tried to treat people as I would like to be treated myself, and to know this is happening with my staff is very pleasing. For your information, both officers will receive a copy of your email, along with a bottle of champagne each. I wish you well with your recovery and thank you for making the effort to contact me.

David, first let me apologies for taking so long to write to you, but I want to belatedly thank you for all your hard work and professionalism in getting Holly home (Hobart to Preston UK). I honestly don’t believe that it could have been done any better and you made a potentially traumatic journey run as smooth as it possibly could have. Holly is still in Hospital but we are hopeful that by the end of February she will come home to a room that has been prepared for her. Once again many thanks for all your help and I hope you have a joyful Christmas and a peaceful new year. Chris

To the management and staff of Ambulance Private. I’d like to thank you for the support and help with the Make-A-Wish Rotary Bike Ride held on 28 )ct 2012….We couldn’t achieve this without your generous help. We appreciate your help on this event. Thank you so much, Kind regards and thanks. Make-A-Wish Hobart Branch and Rotary Claremont.

Hi David, Just want to thank you, Peter and all the crew for providing us with such a great night on your wonderful boat. It makes such a difference to be able to get together in such a private and lovely space to let our hair down. The evening and the scenery was magnificent. Everybody said it was the best Christmas Party we have had. Thank you all so much once again. On behalf of the Gibson Crew, Deb  CNM

Dear David. On behalf of the committee of Club Motori Italia, I was asked to write to you to express our sincere thanks and gratitude to yourself and Ambulance Private’s continued support of our club with the provision of Ambulance and first aid response capacity for our motorsport events.  Without this, the ability for our club to be able to run such events safely would be severely restricted and this is not something as event organisers we would ever wish to do. Moreover though the committee wished me to pass on our thanks especially for the provision of the additional weather protection shelters at the 10th Domain Hillclimb event this year, which I know was highly appreciated by all given the conditions on the day. The committee also asked me to provide our thanks for the most generous donation to the club, as a part of the renewal of your club membership.  Such donations are both rare in this day but equally are unexpected and is most helpful to a small organisation such as ours. We look forward to your continued support for CMI in 2013 with the various motorsport events that we have planned to hold.  The first being the 10th Anniversary Collinsvale Hillclimb to be held on 17 March 2013, subject to confirmation. Dave, Thank you for your support in the Trans Derwent on Monday. Without your seeing- eye boat I wouldn’t have made it across. If I go again next year, I will bring my own guide dog kayak. Thanks again Erica (of Broken Leg Fame).

Hi David, a very sincere Thank You for agreeing to support us again this year. It makes a significant increase in the money we are able to send to the orphanage in Cambodia.

I would like you to pass on my thanks to Alistair (not sure of the spelling) for taking me and my mum up to Oatlands yesterday afternoon. Mum died shortly afterwards, but at least she received the care that she needed which we couldn’t access in Hobart and her passing was dignified.  Thanking you

The Southern Tasmanian Eventing Association held the Tasmanian Eventing Championships last month…..in Lauderdale…Without the support of our sponsors it would not have been possible to put on such a professional event. We are sincerely grateful for Ambulance Private donating their services; this is a huge saving for us as organising club. Once again, many thanks for your generous sponsorship, we greatly appreciate your ongoing support. Kind regards.

Hi David, It’s a little late but I’d just like to say thank you for allowing us to have one of your crews at the Hillclimb on the weekend.

Thanks so much for your involvement in the event, it worked out really well and I think all your crew had an enjoyable 4 days at both the Hobart and Devonport events, I will certainly book you in for next year again and will be in touch early in the new year with dates etc. I hope it all worked well from your end and please let me know if you have any feedback from your guys on the ground at the events, please also pass on my thanks again and all my best to you all for a happy and safe xmas / new year period.

Hi David, Thank You and your delightful children for a wonderful cruise on the Derwent. I know I speak for everybody saying we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and was a special part of our tour. John Bowe Driving.

David, Thanks again for all your help at the Regatta!!! Geoff

I am writing to ask if you are able to support the Regatta with medical emergency support as you have in past years. The Association is grateful for the tremendous effort you and your staff render and are appreciative of your sponsorship and support for the event. Serenade was a fantastic addition to the Regatta last year – and your assistance with the swimmers, My Kitchen Rules and other water activities was much appreciated by all. I do hope you will be able to help us again this year and I’ll give you a call to talk about the possibilities.  (We Did!)

Thank you very much for your help.

I am writing to thank you for you, and your organisation’s involvement with the Kevin Shaw Southern Safari in August 2014. I also note your efforts in providing our events with the best possible safety coverage at an affordable cost to the Club. It has been a pleasure working with you over the past 4 years, and 7 events. The Kevin Shaw was my last event as Clerk of Course for the foreseeable future; although I do expect to still be involved in some capacity. Kind Regards

Ambulance Private! Thanks for all your help. To the driver who transported me from Calvary to St Johns approx. 5.30pm 9th May (Laurie?) apologies if I have your name wrong. Your kindness was very much appreciated, Regards..

Dear Tony, Just a short note to “Thank You” for the wonderful men “Rod and Les” you sent to transfer my husband.. to his hospital appointment on Friday July 25. They were both professional caring and very understanding of the situation. They made my day so much easier. Thank you once again. Yours sincerely.

Dear David, Thank you for your historic and ongoing support of Variety Tasmania. Have a wonderful festive season and all the best for 2015.

Hi Dave, thanks again for your support and attendance at the Schools Triathlon Challenge again this year and I look forward to an ongoing arrangement in 2015. Please thank all the guys that were in attendance this year as they were all awesome again and are certainly a part of the event and not just sitting back waiting for something to happen, love that hands on approach you guys have and it is greatly appreciated by everyone at the event. Please wish your crew and to yourself a very happy and safe Xmas / New year, catch up again in 2015, Cheers

Hello David and Staff. My apologies for not sending this letter of thanks earlier.
On behalf of our family I would like to thank yourself and the Staff at Ambulance Private in the assistance responsiveness and professional care extended to the transport of our father in a time of stress for our whole family. I am sure this was just another day at the office for you all but to use this was like a lifeline to the family to know that dad was in such good care. The way that yourself and the staff took over the transport arrangements, Dads needs and constant updates to get our dad to and from Hobart was just simply superb. On behalf of myself and our family thank you all. Regards

The North West Eventing Association would like to thank Ian (actually Les!) for attending our event last Sunday in Wynyard and we look forward to seeing him this Sunday at Fern Park Pony Club near Fernglade, Burnie.

Thanks so much for your support.  As this is the first year we are holding an event at Powranna we are, as always trying to keep costs to a minimum. We know there are cheaper first aid providers but have always found you guys to be, professional, offering good care, and always reliable. Thanks once again.

Thanks for that.  Cheque is on it’s way to you today. I would also like to mention how nice the person was who came to both events (sorry I’ve forgotten his name).  It has been a pleasure working with all the people in your company, they have all been more than helpful, thanks.

Thank You for all your help. From the North West Eventing Association

Thanks again for your attendance at our shows. (MC Rodeo’s)

We have had much positive feedback from the Trans Derwent Swim this year and we could not have made it such a safe and happy event without your contributions.  Keeping our swimmers safe is of paramount importance to me and knowing they are in good hands helps me breathe much more easily.

I think it is needless to say that we are SO incredibly thankful for all of your hard work!! We have all been put on a bit of a roller coaster ride of different information from the hospital coming at us – thank you so very much for your support, positivity and perseverance which has lead us to where we are at!! Without you all, this repatriation would still be a distant reality – it means the absolute world to all of my family, and of course to xxxxx, himself. This will certainly not be the last “thank you” as we still have a lot of work ahead before he lands, but after such a victorious event such as flights being confirmed, it is definitely owed to you all to know just how special you guys are!! Thank you again, everyone, and let’s hope for the best in Thailand!!!

Warmest regards,What a fantastic man you are – thank you from the bottom of my heart!  I have received advice from Chris that ambulance pickup in Pattaya has been arranged and he is going to forward these arrangements to you. I will await David and Dad at hospital(Adelaide-ed), and can pick up stamped passport there.  Thank you so much once again – it’s been a lot of blood sweat and tears on your part with the influx of changing information – I truly appreciate it.  Hopefully Thailand is smooth sailing!

Dear David and Team, Thank You to Graham and Les who assisted at our Cross Country on Thursday 21 May. Service was fantastic and your support ensured the carnival ran with ease and efficiency. Many Thanks.

Good morning, I wanted to let you know how grateful we are for the care given to my Mum XXXX over the past months when being transported to and from St Ann’s Nursing Home Old Beach by Heather and Tom. Both Heather and Tom attended to my mother on several occasions when she was very unwell and required transport to Hobart Private. Both showed compassion, and we wanted to let you know how grateful we are to them both for taking the time to attend to mum the way they did.  Mum is in a very fragile state, and the care taken to transport her with the minimal of discomfort was shown to an extremely high standard.  They are a credit to your organisation, and we would appreciate it if you could pass on our thanks to them both.

Just a quick message to say thank you for today. After what has been a pretty stressful week for our family, being able to get mum home without causing her any more worry or discomfort was wonderful. She has asked me to pass on her thanks to both drivers, she said they were both brilliant. Same goes for Peter at your Ops Centre, he was excellent to deal with and made everything super easy. Overall a great experience, thanks!
